Second piece in a new series of work exploring various elements that I am strongly attracted to, including texture, line, color, pattern, as well as that which is old, patched, stitched and repaired.

    This is right up my street - I love how tactile your fabrics are! May I ask what type of thread did you use for the stitching, was it an embroidery thread?^^

    Thank you. :-)
    I used 12 wt. Sulky Cotton Blendable Thread, which is marketed for machine and hand stitching.

    Thanks for the info - I really like the effect of the stitch lines as it adds to that rustic, homely feel. ^^
