With full shopping bags...from the archives...Heck, it has been too cold for us to work. We haven't seen 50 deg. F for a week. That's unusual in Northern Florida. We have ice skims on protected fresh water bodies, and volunteers are pulling hundreds of cold-stunned sea turtles, including several endangered Kemps-Ridley's, from a local estuary. The turtles will warm up in heated pools at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City, and will be released when the weather returns to normal.
