Corbin Harney

"It's in our backyard...its in our front yard. This nuclear contamination is shortening all life. Were going to have to unite as a people and say no more! We, the people, are going to have to put our thoughts together to save our planet here. We only have One Water...One Air...One Mother Earth."


Corbin Harney was a spiritual leader and elder of the Shoshone Indian who past on July 10, 2007. From his birth his was raised by grandparents medicine people themselves on an Indian reservation for his mother has past on shortly after his birth.


Through his upbringing, Corbin became a medicine person himself working to protect sacred land of his people. When Shoshone reservation was in jeopardy of having nuclear testing done he was an effective activist.


"It's disgraceful how the United States makes international statements about human rights and then commits this kind of assault in our own backyard. It destroys their credibility and moral authority"
