The Glass Slipper

Another shot of fragment of ice in the waves at Jökulsárla, Southern Iceland and I must admit I held a strong fascination for these spectacular natural wonders and spent hours trying to get the prefect shot in the most appalling conditions. Eventually one of my 5D MII's gave up the ghost; a victim of the wind, spray, rain, cold and damp. I used a 3-stop ND with a polarizer to slow the exposure time to try and get a nice blurry effect on the wavers around the ice, but more often than not the waves shifted the ice ruining the shot. This one however it was the most unusable ice shape which caught my eye.
