Macaque - Monkey Cave Temple - Thailand

    Newer Older

This is from my trip to Thailand - Monkey Cave Temple, called Wat Tham Suwankuha by the locals (I think) in Phuket area. This temple is home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques that are more than eager to share your lunch with you. The temple also had a resident monk, who for a fee, would provide you with a blessing and would tie a bracelet around your wrist. At the far end of the cave there was a slippery walkway which led to a further chamber high up behind some rather large stalactites.

I'm doing the set design for my son's opera at school and we need a monkey cave. Do you have a photo that would help me visualize the space these monkey's live in.
