Ginger milk pudding

The result- a not-quite-set pudding. It was delicious and warming and the richness of the milk perfectly balanced the spiciness of the ginger. It was thick enough to eat with a spoon, but definitely not the consistency of a pudding.

 

I wonder why it didn't set? This isn't the first time that something that looked so easy on TV didn't turn out so well. But this was good enough, even though it was a bit thin, that I'll be trying it again.
