Ginger milk pudding

    Newer Older

Just saw this on TV- an easy recipe for ginger milk pudding, a Hong Kong dessert. We had the ingredients (all three of them!) on hand so I gave it a try right away.

    The ingredients:
    150ml milk
    20g sugar
    15ml ginger juice

    See next picture for instructions.

What's in the black container with the white spoon?

That's brown sugar. It looks kind of soft and wet, but tastes good. My mother-in-law sent it.

Oh, now that I think of it, maybe that's why the pudding didn't turn out! I should try it with white sugar next time. Thanks!

Mine didn't set either, although it was yummy. I don't have a microwave and heated the milk to 80 degrees on the stove. Should I have simmered it for a while?
