I find myself walking down the alleys of downtown Bellingham watching the walls, the ground, doorways splattered with graffiti, and windows that are bricked up and covered with bars.
It seems like every few feet there are photographic opportunities to capture texture, street art, and things worn by time and grime.
Sometimes I find myself passing the same spot multiple times, examining it each time for a new angle, better lighting, or a fresh composition. I can't swear that I got it right this time, but I wouldn't be surprised if you see this show up again.
This shot is actually a detail of an image I'm about to upload next. Enjoy them both!
