paper negative print

Maxine ...

was making the morning coffee at Krispy Kreme in downtown Raleigh Saturday morning when I popped in to take this photo. It's much easier to ask for photos when I truly am a photography student now.

She asked for a print - and I'll make sure she get this ...

This photograph is kind of a big deal to me - as it is the first that I took, developed the negative and then printed!

I was surprised at how long I had to expose the negative. I don't like how grainy this is too - and it's 100 speed film. From what I have read Fuji Neopan 100ss is just that way. It's cheap film but I think I am going to be avoiding it.

I also figured out that blasted grain focuser ... I think.

Anyways, Maxine - my first print is yours the next time I am in Raleigh.

This is picture #9 in my 100 strangers project.
