Boulder Reservoir’s waters offer a contrast to the northwest Nevada high desert landscape.
The Applegate Field Office manages nearly 1.75 million acres of public land which straddles the border of northeast California and northwest Nevada. From the beautiful Klamath National Forest and Shasta-Trinity National Forest on the west, to the towering Warner Mountains, and east into the high desert valleys and mountains. This diverse landscape offers a wealth of resources and opportunities for public use and enjoyment.
