Hazel | by mrs. french

Hazel resides at the Portland Audubon society. She was found on the ground in the Mount Hood National forest emaciated and unable to fly. She had lost some feathers during her ordeal and when they came back in, they came back in a way that prevented her from ever flying again. Other than that she is healthy and will spend the rest of her life with the Audubon Society and could live to be up to 25 years old.

Her eyes drew me in and I often come back to this photo to admire her.
