A new Victoria line tube trains coming in to Finsbury Park, during one of three weekend engineering closures this month.

Sorry for the rubbish cinematography, but it came in quite quickly (as you can see) and I'm not entirely sure I was meant to be hanging around the closure barriers shooting video. Hem.

If you're also dorky enough to want to try, it's worth noting that thelive departure boards stay hooked up even during engineering, and that the way Finsbury Park's staircases are built mean the line can't be entirely cordoned off.

I think those are actually dark blue, but the entire front is a lot burlier than the current 1967TS.

pfft, Gareth spotted one here two years ago :)

Apparently they're beginning to test the new trains during passenger hours too, which may explain all the window decals.

(And speaking of new trains, the Class 378s were due to start on the Overground today too.)

Martin: yes, he mentioned it. He didn't get video though. I assumed the window decals were explained that way. Ta for the nod on the 378s.

The cinematography makes it all the better! Cool!
