A Venus Fly Trap, that is!

Admiral Ackbar was borrowed from bluemoose, but before I fed him to my plant, I swapped his legs out for some older ones of my own, just in case some residue got left behind. (I remembered to swap them back again afterwards!).

I also made a Tranquility Base episode using Ackbar and part of the Home One set.

Model Gal, bluemoose, pasukaru76, and 9 other people added this photo to their favorites.

HAHA! That was funny. Do you need to water the plant?

Yes, absolutely, all the time, in fact the pot sits in a dish filled with 1/2 to 1 inch of water - it's a bog plant that loves sun and humidity (it is native to North Carolina).

Tch tch tch, you shouldn't really set the traps off unnecessarily, they tend to be one use only and it means all the energy the plant has expended growing it is wasted.

      ...

Yes I am jealous I didn't do it first.

Woah, did you take a picture of what the legs look like after?

    7. LouiseDade 55 months ago | reply

Samthelegoman1 Well the legs didn't actually look any different - I just swapped them in case anything nasty happened. It didn't. I washed them under the tap, though, just in case there was some digestive residue left.

Oh, I thought the legs would have taken some damage after being chewed by that carnivorous plant!
