Bike access to Dartford Crossing (Queen Elizabeth II bridge) over the Thames, SE England

The Dartford Crossing of the River Thames east of London consists of a tunnel and the splendid Queen Elizabeth II bridge. Neither was built with cycle access, but the Lords insisted that cyclists should be able to use the crossings. Therefore, cyclists can turn up at access areas and demand to use the free taxi service taking them and bike across.
