Bonny does a similar behavior when she greets us. I wonder what makes them do this? It is endearing though!

What a very sweet vice! I think it's a sign of intelligence, carrying a greeting prop with her. ;-)

This is sweet! One of our girls does that with toys, whenever she's happy, she has to find a toy and walk around holding it, her tail wagging, even trying to lick us with the toy in her mouth!

Are Weimaraners inherently good at these poses? Seen William Wegman's photography?
  • bivoir 3y

    Jerome Turner

William Wegman is one of my favourite Artists! He, along with a fellow Flickr member inspired me to get Lucy :)

Weim's seem to have a lot of expression in their poses, I would imagine a badly trained Weim wouldn't be a good poser, and they have to be absolutely calm otherwise they'll come and knock the tripod over with their usual excitement!

    Treats help :)

I have some amazing Wegman books - Little Red Riding Hood is good, as is Cinderella.

Great shot! I need to take some of these shaming photos of my RR, Stella.
