Timelapse Rig

    Newer Older

Did a lot of timelapse up at Yourambulla this weekend. This was one of the set ups. Crazy steep staircase and wonky rocks. Plenty of Duct Tape. Unforunately it somehow moved during the slide, of well, its all learning.

I have so much fun setting these up!

What kind of slider and motor are you using? Looks like a good setup

Beyond me but great that you have the ability to do this and get the wonderful results that you do Denis!

Hey guys. I made this myself from a motor from a electronics hobby store. Gearbox i made from an old photocopier. Made the speed control from a hobby kit. The slider I got from an engineering shop. All home made really. That's how I roll.

You should put up a tutorial, that would be fantastic.

Really admire your inventiveness! :-) All I do is stand there with the silly camera, look at something, and shoot! <:-/

Awesome setup. I feel a little bit less silly knowing even professionals have to improvise like this.

I have four tripods, one is an antique, two miniature ones that are theoretically pocket sized and a $30 tripod that has been with me for almost ten years and has seen 7, maybe 8 cheap digital cameras & two 35mm SLRs come and go.
