This bird is full tilt, maximum thrust.

It is part of a series I managed of the bird attacking some Little Ravens that had dared to venture near her nest.

 

Bad career move.

 

She rolled over about 50m above them, turned into a stoop and plummeted earthward.

She has just come out of the power dive and is running on minimum wing surface.

The ravens scattered, but I missed it all as it was behind the treeline.

Had she been really serious I doubt the intended raven could have avoided contact.
