Brown Falcon: Learning to Live in Brown Falcon Time
Brown Falcon, Falco berigora
You may remember I introduced you to Cassia of Cinnamon late in 2019 as she worked on nesting her two young.
Today in the sunshine we were able to become reaquainted with this very tolerant lady.
She sat on the boxthorn surveying her world and was in no hurry as Brown Falcon time is quite different to human hustle and bustle to get things done so you can do other things.
As she sat patiently, surveying the paddocks, I couldn't help but feel she was setting a great example of dealing with the next six weeks of lockdown.
After about half an hour of sitting in the warm sunshine, she made deliberate wing beats across the field to hover momentarily, then score a snack from the ground.
I think I'll just hang about in Brown Falcon Time.
Best wishes to all my fellow Doona Warriors.
The Donna Hermit.
