Morning Above Boulder II
Here's another shot just after the sun came up yesterday (10/12/2009). I have to hide the sun from my Sigma lens since it performs poorly otherwise. As you can see, compared to the first image, the fog was retreating as the sun came up.
I processed this from a single image using Photomatix. It was easier to bring out the tones in the clouds with it, as compared with Photoshop. I did finish up with Photoshop, applying some noise reduction and removing some distracting elements from the hills in the foreground.
