Jumping Spider

Found this one on a dusty window. Jumping spiders are among my favourite macro subjects. They initially run away when you approach them, but they are curious enough to turn back for a good look, giving you the perfect pose.

Shoot details: Tamron 90mm, f/16 for depth of field. Lighting using a Vivitar 285 on camera left through a plastic bowl. Triggered using a Cactus trigger (E-Bay remote).

Post-processing: Curves adjustments, USM sharpening and de-saturation using Picture Window Pro.
