Little Penguins on Phillip Island, Australia
I took this picture years ago with a film camera, when photography was allowed on Phillip Island. Every evening, just after dark, the little penguins (the smallest species of penguin, also called fairy penguins) come in from the sea and return to their burrows. They make a lot of noise along their way.
This photo was taken with a Minolta Maxxum with ISO 1600 film pushed to 3200. At the time photography was allowed, as long as the flash wasn't turned on; now the no-photography rule is strictly enforced on Phillip Island.
