Seville Cycletracks

Seville (Sevilla), Spain went from 0.5% mode share for cyclists to 6% in 3 years - that's 6,000 cyclists per day to 60,000! They were able to make such drastic changes using cycletracks - bicycle lanes protected from car traffic with physical barriers, also known as protected or separated bike lanes. These photos were taken in 2011 during the Velo-City Conference.
