Javier and his folding bicycle

Javier commutes on his Kend Stow-A-Way folding bike. I think this is the first folding bike I've seen with a full-suspension style frame. I forgot to ask Javier where he bought it from, but it appears to come from a discount retailer. He paid less than $200 for this folding bike. The frame is hinged in the middle to fold back on itself. The seat post is removable and the steerer also can be folded in as well as the pedals. The bike weighs about 35 pounds. Props to Javier for using an inexpensive folding bike as part of a multi-modal commute.

Seen at San Jose Diridon Station.
