Kate and her Strida folding bicycle

    Newer Older

Seen on the morning commute in Menlo Park today. Kate bought the Strida folding bike a couple of months ago. The Strida is the unique British folding bike that weighs about 20 lbs and folds fairly compactly for bringing onto a train or bus as part of a multimodal commute.

It was a chilly morning -- check out those Pearl Izumi lobster gloves!

I thought this was the Strida 3, but looking at the picture now it don't think the 3.0 comes in just "brushed aluminum" so maybe this is the Strida 5.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Commuting WITHOUT a car, and we'd love to have this added to the group!
