Courmayeur smoky river

Courmayeur, Aosta Valley, Italy. It was a cold and foggy morning in Ferret valley. Together with my friend, we stopped near a stream of water. I wanted to get a long exposure without "burning" the image and the unique way had been to set a very closed aperture of diaphragm; so I chose the closest one! I thought f/32 was the best answer, supported by two filters: a 3-stop ND filter and a circular polarizing filter for to achieve motion blur water effects with very long exposure time! I taken this stream with an exposure time of 15 seconds using 100 ISO, without overexposing the final image.

I think the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. The real mystery of life is not a problem to be solved, it is a reality to be experienced.
