Durian (Davao City)
Davao City is almost synonymous with the the durian --- the fruit that "smells like hell but tastes like heaven". The cheapeast durian are those sold along the sidewalks. The best variety is the local Arrancillo. The fruit shown above is the bigger Puyat variety we gobbled up at D' Farmers Market on Pryce Road.
