A Big 3 Viewer submitted these photos from the Dallas Blooms Festival 2010. This celebration of spring happens every year at the Dallas Arboretum.
This years theme was Hispanic heritage and live music of Spain and Mexico could be heard throughout the garden. The display included 500,000 spring-blooming bulbs including tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, and Dutch Iris as well as 80,000 pansies, violas, redbuds, and poppies plus 3,000 azaleas! It took 6,000 lbs of grass seed to cover the grounds in preparation for this years festival.
