Muhammad Bin Qasim Mosque

Nothing Remains,like this mosque.

Built by Muhammad Bin Qasim in Arore,Sukkur(My Ancestral Village) when he came to the Subcontinent.

The place itself is an example of the illusion of life.Once fertilised by the mighty Indus, the fields nearby get water from Nara Canal nowadays.

The river changed its course, and so did the shape of this monument and like everything we will die to face Allah one day.To be judged on what we did to make this illusion a reality. says

"After appointing Governors in all the principal districts of Sindh, Muhammad Bin Qasim left Brahman Abad on 3rd Muharram (AH 711) and proceeded towards Alore where Fofi, the son of Raja Dahir, had fortified his position. Muhammad Bin Qasim called his forces to a halt opposite the fort, where he also built a Mosque, the portion of which still stands on the top of a hill at the very site of Arore."
