Blockade and tripod at Maules Creek coal project gate

Over 100 people shut down construction of the controversial Maules Creek coal mine project in northwest NSW, escalating a blockade that has been underway for over two weeks. The protest has blocked entry to the mine to workers using tripod structures. The protest is attended by local community, concerned citizens and potilicians opposed to the mine.
