Gold Culture @ the Blind Tiger Club, Brighton
Gold Culture is a new up-and-coming soul/funk band based in Brighton fronted by Annie Rose Spayne. I was unbelievably excited to do this shoot with them because (a) they make a nice sound playing live, (b) I haven't done any gig photography since the early '90s, and (c) the blueprint for successfully lighting a dark music venue had been pretty much laid out by the Strobist recently: strobist.blogspot.com/2012/11/m4-like-carbine-but-with-mo...
Check out Gold Culture if they ever play down your neck of the woods: www.facebook.com/GoldCulture
