Admont and the Hochtor Mountain Range
The Hochtor mountain range is situated south of the river Enns in Styria, Austria. Its peaks rise about 1800 meters above the valley. The Hochtor (in the center of the image) has a height of 2730 m and is the highest summit in the Gesäuse National Park.
The village in front of the mountains is Admont, famous for its historic monastery, founded in 1074. Here you can see the towers of the abbey church illuminated by the evening sun.
