Mollie Goat

    Newer Older

Unlike my other posts, this one is photoshopped and just plain fun. I borrowed the idea from a terrific photographer, J.C. Leacock - who teaches workshops and has a gallery in Crested Butte. So I'll make sure to give credit where it's due.

And I'll give Mollie some credit as well for putting up with me... I know she showed some patience as I insisted she wear the sunglasses. Anyway, after a little photoshop work on the reflection, our little alpine escort "Mollie Goat" comes to life. I guess you can tell we really enjoy getting out into the backcountry with her.

Both of the images used in this comp were taken from the Gothic Road above Crested Butte, Colorado.

Thats a cool shot :) I don't think Otis would sit still; he would have the glasses off pretty quickly...

I'll have to say that my wife deserves a lot of credit as well. Mollie would never have been so patient with me if it weren't for all her time training. Thanks for all the great comments everyone!

Great idea and wow, super successful shot Mike!! If Otis gets a pair of shades, I'm gonna go over to Ray and Missi's and practice shots like this!

can't wait to try this with my mom's dog around the holidays (usually its a holiday style hat and the dog usually hates it, but it's so funny).

ha ha, this is really good!!!! My animals are all pretty tolerant. Especially my horses. l I put wigs on them, hats, bunny ears and I plan to put some reindeer antlers on them soon.
