A tough cat day
Background: Daisy gets brushed regularly and mostly has a tangle-free topside, but anything underneath gets hopelessly tangled and she won't let us near it without drawing blood. Second, she has a lot of trouble with furballs and she ingests a lot of fur. So on the advice of our vet we have her shaved (by the vet) at the start of summer, giving plenty of time to grow back a warm coat for winter. It's a stressful experience for her, but over quickly, so much less stress than daily brushings where she'll continuously growl if she doesn't like where we brush.
