Tired of missing the Point - Explored July 23rd #430

Today I finally had an opportunity to shoot at Fifty Point. On just one hour of sleep, Julia, Karen, Darren and I made our way to Stoney Creek. Departure time: 3:15 am... ugh.

This is one of those places I've always wanted to go, occasionally had plans to make it there, but something always seemed to come up that stopped it from happening.

It certainly lived up to my expectations, although being my first pre-dawn shoot, I once again found I have a lot to learn.

Next time, I'll come equipped with a much larger flashlight... being able to paint with light is key to a successful image at this place - especially in super-low light at 4:00 am.

A lot of fun hanging out with some fine folks last night.

Well worth the extra effort you put into getting this shot. Well done.

How about haring some of the data related to the shot? ISO, Aperture, Speed etc.

Seen in the group"Ontario (except: Toronto, Hamilton or Ottawa)" (?)

This would make a very challenging jigsaw puzzle. The color changes are so subtle but they are there. The varied shades are quite appealing. You are in the zone.
