Crabtree Falls (Autumn)

This is a repost of an image I took 3 years ago during my last fall color experience in North Carolina. Seeing as I don't get to view color like this anymore I felt it was only fair to celebrate fall with a repost.

Located off the Blue Ridge Parkway, north of Mt. Mitchell. Crabtree Falls is a 70' near vertical waterfall with hundreds of mini cascades.

On my visit to Crabtree Falls I liked three of my shots. The one you see posted above, a detail shot of the creek as it runs under the bridge, Big Crabtree Creek, and the vertical composition that shows the details of a rock in the foreground, A Place to Sit. I encourage you to visit all of them and let me know your favorite.
