Week 2 for 52 Weeks
I have wanted to do a "see, speak and hear no evil" shot for ages, but only just got round to it, the concept is a little contrite, but it is the perfect excuse for a little cloning.
I have been asked why "speak no evil has been given prominence in this image.
there are two answers.
one: I wanted to mix it up a little By adding depth to the image
two: out of the three "speak" is the only act of evil while "see and hear" are purely acts of witness, so to me speak is the most important as it is the one you have full control over, unfortunately in this world you will undoubtedly both see and hear evil in your life time and are pretty powerless to prevent this, but it is down to you entirely not to speak evil,
this is why it is the centerpiece to this image, because it is the genesis be it a spiteful remark or a racist comment, if less of us committed spoken evil, there would be less to witness through both sight and hearing.
or at least that's what i think, if you have a different opinion please add it to your comment
I'm absolutely knackered in these shots, but didn't want to gloss my self up to much, plus i think it adds to the mood of the image
