proboscis

i went to RHS Wisley today, and the weather was phenomenal. Alongside being a gardeners paradise, it is also a photographers paradise. however, it was slightly entertaining seeing how many photographers were wondering round with lenses that looked like a serious replacement for something....

Great line of focus here Ben. The rich colours and the blur gives this image a wonderful dreamy feel. Well done.

Normally such a small depth of field doesn't work really well, but this is so well done. You did such a great job of pinpointing that proboscis and presenting it in such sharp detail it really make this shot pop. The rich depth of yellows and reds help too. Just fantastic!
