Masters studio project with Stanley Tigerman, Harvard, 1982. The project was to "design a circus, where one comes in as a spectator and leaves as a performer". Based on Stanley's individual analyses of each student's work in the early weeks of the semester, he assigned a philosopher or writer for which each final project would be "in the intention of", and a site and program were devised in response to readings of the philosopher/writer. My circus was in the intention of Friedrich Nietzsche.
