Low Pier Pressure
I was in Michigan for my cousins wedding over labor day. The wedding was in a little beach town that my mom and a lot of my extended family grew up in called, Grand Haven. Most people don't realize, but Michigan has some world class beaches and the lake is just like being at the ocean, waves and all. In fact it was pretty stormy while we were there this weekend, and while that made for crappy beach weather it, made for some cool shots. As we pulled into town, we decided to go down to the pier and at least have a look around. I didn't have my camera when we first walked out, but as soon as I got out there I knew I had to run back and grab my camera bag. I ended up making everyone late for dinner, and because of that I only had about 15 minutes to snap off a few shots. I wasn't sure if it would turn out because I only had my travel tripod which isn't very sturdy (which I'm looking to replace so if you have any suggestions on sup compact very good quality tripods let me know). I'll post more as I process them, but I like the way this one turned out. It has 18 ev stops of exposure in it.
