Foggy Day in the streets of Brussels

© Ben Heine || Facebook || Twitter ||

I took this photo during the 2010 Gay Pride in the centre of Brussels, Belgium.

There was a lot of people in the street. The heavy smoke was artificial and it

stayed only a few seconds, so I took this picture very quickly. I feel there is a

story happening in this photo, there is a connection between each person...

In the streets of Brussels

A poem by Katie Gabrielle

In the streets of Brussels,

Powdered with mist

On a day unlike any other

Amongst the shops and cafes

And the streets of stone

Out of the foggy mist

A boy rides a bicycle

A smile on his face

Even in this foggy place

Where the streets wear smiles

Across the miles

In the streets of Brussels
