Alaskan Aurora

    12 Mile Pass on the Steese Highway, just outside of Central, Alaska. The temperature at the time of this display was approximately -30 F. This was taken at 14mm on a full frame sensor. The tiny trees provide some sense of scale. This incredible aroura filled nearly the entire sky. LARGE ON BLACK

      Wonderful photo! I had a chance several years ago to see aurora borealis from my hometown here in Croatia...here that's one-in-century sight!
