It has been very wet here recently, but we got a short reprieve today. I came away with a few dents in my gear (my 14-24 f/2.8 cap gave its life to save its lens) and me while walking on the moss covered rocks, but all-in-all a good outing.

For fun I have included all the processing details for this image below. If you have these tools you will know what I mean.

Processing was done with Photomatix and Lightroom from nine shots bracketed at EV 1 apart (easy to set on the D700).

Photomatix, tone mapping, details enhancer:

- Strength = 70

- Saturation = 70

- Luminosity = 4

- L.Adjustments = 5

- S.Highlights = 50

- WP = 0.393%

- BP = 0.746%

- M.Smoothing = 6

- Foreground water is pulled directly from the -1 EV image. If I was printing I would do many more minor fixes as there are some ghosts and a few other minor issues.

Lightroom (after HDR processing):

- Recovery = 100

- Fill = 10

- Black = 5

- Clarity = 50

- Temp = 15 (for sRGB conversion)

- Grad from top angled with log w/sat -15, clarity 100
