Coyote jumping, Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge, Washington

I finally got one of these to come out. I had a very hard time doing this with my lens at least in the recent lighting. I'm still learning how to use it. I have to raise the iso up really high with the shutter speed when it's gloomy outside and it looks bad unless it's in rather low iso. However the lighting was adequate for this shot on this day. It also doesn't help that you are not allowed to get out of your car at the refuge this time of year as it disturbs the animals. It's probably fine to stay in the car for the coyotes but I think it's going to be rather difficult to catch birds in flight out of my car window with my setup, though not impossible. I may have to get creative and make some sort of a jig for my car. It's great practice and next time I get the opportunity to view real exotic wildlife such as Grizzlies in the Rockies, I'll be ready. I'd also like to practice wildlife panning if I get the chance.
