I have finished the pieces for the Ghost Show at the Pony Club and am looking forward to seeing all the other work there. For this show, I decided to embroider a couple of patterns that I hadn't had a chance yet to try out. Turns out, I really enjoyed working on them.
This one originally came from an illustration I did of Hansel and Gretel, after they'd been eaten by the witch.
The satin stitched lace collar was extra fun to stitch. I was nervous about stitching a braid, but it actually worked up quite nicely. I've always been obsessed with drawing them, and now I've successfully transferred them into my favorite medium. Now that I know, expect to see many more embroidered braids in the near future.
