The Ending (Day 7/365)

Sometimes there are beginnings in endings....

Late post today; I was struggling all day with something to photograph. The weather has been nonstop rain, which doesn't bother me except for the fact that without endangering my camera it's impossible to get outside in my comfort zone and photograph nature! So, I have to be experimental. I was literally thinking "What am I going to do for today's photo?!" when I turned around and saw my two hourglasses aligned...and the idea for this photograph came to me.

I love hourglasses. I love the symbolism behind them. I proudly display the two featured in this photograph on my bookcase; I love how I got them in different places but they are designed so similarly, despite being different sizes. The large one I got at a Renaissance Fair, and the smaller one I bought at a local antique store.

Remember: even when the sand runs out, you can always flip it upside down and start again.
