Airsoft BE Type 89 with Laylax EBR stock

My BE Type 89 with a Laylax EBR style collapsible stock fitted...

I'm embarrassed to say that this stock cost more than the BE airsoft gun itself!

The cheek-rest is adjustable as well and is very comfortable and great in combination with a scope. In this case I have a King Arms Aimpoint replica with LaRue QD mount fitted.

Cheers mate! To be honest this flurry of activity with my airsoft collection was due to Christmas gifts...(Stuck for what to get me this year the family opted to contribute to my airsoft hobby!)

This particular one is still a work in progress - next pay day I will be ordering a front-end RIS rail system and a PEQ15 designator replica for it.

By the way - a note to my airsoft chums: The reason I am opting to put expensive upgrade parts on this BE Type 89 instead of upgrading the whole gun to something else is I simply love the ergonomics of it and it's excellent 3-round burst facility. My option was to exchange the Type 89 to a more expensive STAR FN FNC - but I just like the look of the EBR stock so much I am sticking with this gun!

(I know this won't make sense to some.)

I am just deciding which rail mount to buy for this AEG - I have two choices from Laylax - a long RIS or a short CQB RIS...

    type 89 DMR Laylax

As well as the rail system itself I have to buy a new inner and outer barrel set and a fake PEQ box to hold the battery. Finally, to finish off the project I need a suitable sling, mid-cap mags and a nice flash hider.

Once I have this all together I will do a post about it on and show all the costings. :)
