Casting Challenge 2008
Held at Art Institute of Atlanta, home to instructor and organizer Chef Paul Bodrogi, the driving concept behind the casting challenge was to use silicone molds in non-traditional ways with new techniques. The participants could choose from a large variety of stock silicone molds provided by Michael Joy and the Chicago School of Mold Making to make their showpieces. This Casting Challenge offered two days of casting artistry. On the first day, six pastry students and their assistants worked their sugar with refreshing and distinctive results.
