Happy Fourth of July *E#219

Just got back in from the Fourth of July fireworks on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston, Massachusetts. This was the very first firework blast of the night, and my first picture of the night. I particularly liked the red-white-and-blue. They played the 1812 Overture and these fireworks blasted toward the end of the song at about 9:45. Then, they replayed this short fireworks show at the beginning of the 10pm national coverage as if it were live. The crowd of almost a million people sang with Neil Diamond singing "Sweet Caroline" Red Sox style, and he even played it again during the commercial breaks. All-in-all, a very fun night.
