The Kindle New York Times

    Newer Older

I've just moved my daily New York Times subscription from paper to wireless delivery on the Kindle. It's a huge step forward, not least of which because I won't accumulate as many stacks of newsprint.

Love it! Did you like the transition? I personally like flipping through pages but these days I find myself reading more and more news online. I used your photo in my blog - hope you don't mind.

I've used your photo in the program cover for the Annual MOBIUS Conference. (MOBIUS is a consortium of 66 Missouri libraries.) You're credited in the program.

      Thanks for artwork!

Hi Brian, first of all the picture is superb!

Besides stacks of newsprint, e-reading also saves tons of paper and your picture depicts that pretty clearly.

I have used this picture on our website (with credits) that promotes e-reading as a means of more convenient reading and saving environment @

We encourage all Kindle users to sign up, click "Count me in" and tell us how many e-books & e-papers they buy per quarter, so we can count how many kilograms of paper they did NOT use over time. As you are a heavy reader, we invite you to join as well and help us measure the collective impact we make together. It will only take 2 minutes or so.
