"Tresspassing"
One of Nine Mile Canyon's more famous (infamous) rock art panels. I previously posted a low res digital camera picture of this, I just now got around to scanning the film. I like this one better. I hadn't noticed the circular feet before, that's something I tend to associate with Barrier Canyon Style but I don't know if that's always the case. There's nothing else about this panel to suggest it's BCS.
It's in a small cave that's full of rock art, but it's the best shelter around so it's had lots of use for probably a few thousand years, most of what's there is pretty worn. This lone example had survived in pretty good shape until fairly recently. Sometimes it makes me think that we Europeans must be the lowest scum of the planet that this stuff has been there for so long, until we came along. We just have no respect.
Scanned film (Fuji M21A 100 print film) shot with a Minolta X-700.
(You can see an image of this before the vandalism here.)
